A. Job Title: 6-12 School Secretary. This is an 11-month position with district benefits available. Salary will be based on prior experience.

 G. Essential Job Functions:

  1. Serve as the primary administrative support to building administration

  2. Manage the main office and ensure efficient daily operations

  3. Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries

  4. Maintain office supplies and equipment

  5. Maintain accurate and confidential student records (cumulative files, transcripts, attendance)

  6. Enter and update student information in district data systems

  7. Monitor and record daily student attendance

  8. Communicate attendance concerns to administration

  9. Verify and document excuses for absences

  10. Other duties as assigned by building administration

H.  Knowledege & Skills

  1. Operate student information systems (SIS)

  2. Use district software for attendance, grading, and purchasing

  3. Troubleshoot minor office technology issues

  4. Maintain digital and paper filing systems

  5. Utilize student information systems and district software

  6. Maintain digital and physical filing systems

  7. Troubleshoot basic office technology issues

  8. Monitor visitor sign-in procedures

  9. Maintain emergency contact information

  10. Assist with emergency communication and drill documentation

K. At Will Employment  Employment with the School District is not for any period of time,

and employment may be terminated at any time at the convenience of the terminating party, with or without cause, and with or without notice.  Employment with the School District is not governed by any express or implied contract of employment containing terms different from or inconsistent with those stated in this employment agreement.  The terms of this employment agreement may not be modified except in a writing signed by the Superintendent of Schools.
